Scenes of His faithful care abound
And draw our needy hearts above.
Through every need His goodness flows.
O what a love that never sleeps!
Through every grief, He feels, He knows,
He shapes and leads, He guards and keeps.
No threat, no force, no fear withstands
Almighty, all-embracing care.
Nothing can harm us in His hands
Or catch our Father unaware.
O Holy God, Creator, Lord,
Eternal, sovereign, right, and true,
Power and wisdom unexplored,
