If any of you lacks wisdom,
he should ask God,
who gives generously to all without finding fault, and
it will be given to him. (James 1:5, NIV)

This is one of the most practical promises in all the Bible.

We often feel we’re in the dark and don’t know where to turn.
The problem could be big or small:
a relationship with a spouse or a child;
a problem at work;
a major decision.

Our loving Father makes this blanket offer.
If you need wisdom, ask.
He gives it “generously to all without finding fault.”
He won’t scold you for the mess you’ve gotten into.

Ask, then trust Him.
He’ll guide you, if you’re willing to follow.

 Jesus,
give me Your wisdom.
